Mr Ahmed ElGebaly

Mr. Ahmed ElGebaly is a nonproliferation expert with more than 18 years of expertise with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). He was part of the experts contributing to the inspection team in Iraq. He was also part of the Safeguards task force that tracked and monitored the activities of the AQK proliferation network. He is a specialist in monitoring movement of commodities of potential use in WMD programmes. At the IAEA, He also developed and implemented the its SG concept for performing industrial infrastructure studies to identify industries supporting nuclear activities in different States. He managed several cooperation projects between the IAEA and member states as well as international organisations such as the EU. Ahmed is a chemist by education and holds a MSC in knowledge Management. He has extensive experience in data collection and management. He is also experienced in development and implementation of web based applications for different purposes in the nuclear domain.
